Portugal's PM offers resignation over corruption probe, SIC TV says

Portuguese broadcaster SIC said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Antonio Costa had offered his resignation to the president amid an investigation into alleged irregularities in the government's handling of lithium mining and hydrogen projects in the country.

Costa was due to address the nation in a matter of minutes, his office said, without providing further comment.
