Three Iraqi govt ministers backed by ousted House speaker to resign -statement

Three government ministers backed by ousted Iraqi House Speaker Mohammed Halbousi will resign their positions after Iraq's top court terminated Halbousi's tenure as speaker, a statement from his Taqaddum party said on Tuesday.

The party would also boycott meetings of the ruling government coalition and its lawmakers would resign from parliamentary committees and engage in a "political boycott" of parliament, the statement said.
