Stephane Sejourne named new French foreign minister, Dati becomes culture minister

Stephane Sejourne will be France's new foreign minister, said the office of President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday, adding that Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire and Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin would stay in their current roles.

However, the biggest surprise in the reshuffle came from veteran conservative politician Rachida Dati, a close ally of former President Nicolas Sarkozy, who was named France's new culture minister.
