Lithuania seeks to buy Leopard 2 tanks from Germany

Lithuania's Defence Council has decided to initiate negotiations for a purchase of German-made Leopard 2 tanks for the Baltic nation, an advisor to the Lithuanian president told reporters on Tuesday.
The Leopard 2 is made by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, part of German-French technology group KNDS.
