Democratic negotiator on security funding bill says hopeful talks can wrap in two days

Connecticut Democratic Senator Chris Murphy said on Tuesday that he hopes bipartisan talks on a supplemental funding deal on border security and aid for Ukraine and Israel will wrap within next two days.
"We still have a handful of issues to resolve but there is no reason for us to wait weeks to get this bill on the floor," Murphy, a negotiator involved in the talks, told reporters on Capitol Hill.
"I am hopeful that our Republican colleagues will work with us to wrap up the supplemental, both the policy changes and the funding necessary, to effectuate the policy changes in the next two days so that we can answer the call for Ukraine," Murphy said.
