Mamata holds rally in Bengal's Purulia for party candidate

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday participated in an election rally for Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Shantiram Mahato in Purulia Lok Sabha constituency. Flanked by senior party leader and state minister Malay Ghatak, as well as candidate Mahato, Banerjee walked around 2 km from SP Office More to Dak Banglo More, party sources said.

Following this, she proceeded to Baruka to participate in another rally in support of TMC's Bankura candidate, Arup Chakraborty.
