British police said on Wednesday that 19 companies or organisations and 58 individuals were criminal suspects over the Grenfell fire in west London seven years ago which killed 72 people.
But prosecutors said no charges over the fire would be likely until the end of 2026.
"It is not possible to be definitive about timescales, but it would be our hope that by the end of 2026 we will be in a position where we are making final charging decisions," Rosemary Ainslee, head of special crime at the Crown Prosecution Service, told a press briefing on Wednesday.
