INDIA Bloc Asserts Confidence in Winning Over 295 Seats

Leaders of the INDIA bloc held a meeting to review their election strategies and expressed confidence in winning over 295 seats, potentially forming the next government. In a significant move, leaders of the INDIA bloc convened on Saturday to review their strategies ahead of the June 4 vote counting for the Lok Sabha elections. The opposition coalition expressed confidence in securing more than 295 seats, a tally sufficient to form the next government, according to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

Speaking to the press after a two-and-a-half-hour meeting, Kharge stated that the figure is derived from comprehensive feedback gathered from various sources, including grassroots surveys. The leaders stressed the importance of party workers remaining vigilant in the counting halls until all formalities are completed.

The opposition bloc is set to meet with the Election Commission to address their concerns and ensure a fair counting process. Meanwhile, the coalition has decided to engage in exit poll debates on television, reversing an earlier decision by the Congress to abstain from such speculation.
