Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced his return to jail, asserting he was being targeted for opposing 'dictatorship' rather than for any corrupt activity.

Kejriwal was granted interim bail on May 10 by the Supreme Court in a case linked to the Delhi excise policy scam. Addressing party workers before surrendering at Tihar jail, he underlined his commitment to campaigning during the Lok Sabha polls to 'save' the nation.

Criticizing exit polls that projected a BJP victory, Kejriwal called them 'fake' and accused them of being a psychological strategy. He urged vigilance among INDIA bloc parties' counting agents during vote tallying, advocating for staying till the end of counts. Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi and invoking Lord Hanuman, Kejriwal reiterated his resolve to fight what he termed as 'dictatorship'.
