The BJP is charting a significant lead over the Congress in all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, according to Election Commission data.

BJP candidate from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, is leading by a margin of 74,925 votes over Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh. Union minister Anurag Thakur, contesting for a fifth term from the Hamirpur seat, holds a lead of 1,62,916 votes over Congress' Satpal Raizada, EC data reveals.

Former state BJP president and current MP from Shimla, Suresh Kashyap, is ahead by 88,295 votes, while BJP Kangra nominee Rajiv Bhardwaj is leading by 2,43,173 votes. Bhardwaj's opponent from the Congress, Anand Sharma, has conceded defeat and extended his congratulations to Bhardwaj.

Sharma admitted, "Contesting from Kangra was a splendid experience and I accept my defeat humbly and congratulate Rajiv Bhardwaj for his success." Continuing, he expressed gratitude to his party and the people of Kangra and Chamba for their support and affection.

Reacting to the preliminary results, Kashyap remarked to PTI that the outcomes align with exit polls, indicating strong public support to bring Narendra Modi back as Prime Minister for a third term. Echoing this sentiment, State BJP chief Rajiv Bindal stated that the public has once again bestowed their mandate upon the party. He also criticized the Congress government for misusing power and deemed it a major defeat for Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who has been unable to deliver results in his 18-month tenure.
