Kirodi Lal Meena, a state Cabinet minister, has pledged to step down if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fails to secure any of the seven seats under his purview, as trends indicate a decline in the party's stronghold in Rajasthan.
Having overseen both the 2014 and 2019 elections with an unblemished record of winning all 25 seats, the BJP's current tally reveals a loss of more than ten seats. Meena has reiterated his commitment to quitting if BJP loses, quoting, ''Raghukul Reeti Sada Chali Aai, Pran Jaai Par Bachan Na Jaai.''
Meena recounted the Prime Minister's specific request for his efforts on behalf of seven crucial seats in eastern Rajasthan, including Dausa, Bharatpur, and others. As counting continues, Congress shows significant leads in several constituencies, further challenging BJP’s dominance.
