MVA Takes Lead in Vidarbha: A Tight Race for Lok Sabha Seats
In Maharashtra's Vidarbha region, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is ahead in seven out of ten Lok Sabha seats, with Mahayuti leading in three constituencies. Notably, Pratibha Dhanorkar is leading in Chandrapur, while Nitin Gadkari holds a strong lead in Nagpur. In 2019, BJP had won five of these seats.

In Maharashtra's Vidarbha region, the Lok Sabha race is heating up as the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leads in seven out of ten seats. The ruling Mahayuti is currently ahead in three constituencies.
Key contests include Congress's Pratibha Dhanorkar in Chandrapur, leading by over one lakh votes against Maharashtra minister and BJP heavyweight Sudhir Mungantiwar. In Nagpur, Union minister Nitin Gadkari is ahead by more than 78,000 votes over Congress' Vikas Thakare.
During the 2019 elections, the BJP secured five of the ten seats, including Nagpur, Akola, and Wardha, while the undivided Shiv Sena took three. Congress managed to win only the Chandrapur seat.
