Jitendra Singh's Hat-Trick Victory in Udhampur

Jitendra Singh, BJP leader and Union minister, has secured a third term in the Udhampur seat with a lead of 1,24,373 votes. Singh's closest competitor, Choudhary Lal Singh of Congress, secured 4,46,703 votes. Former minister G M Saroori, representing DPAP, finished third with 39,599 votes.

Jitendra Singh, the BJP leader and Union minister, is set to retain the Udhampur seat for the third consecutive term, according to the Election Commission's latest trends. Singh has garnered a comfortable lead of 1,24,373 votes, escalating his total to 571076 votes.

Choudhary Lal Singh from the Congress emerged as his closest competitor, accumulating 4,46,703 votes. Despite an initially narrow lead, Singh's margin increased significantly as the counting progressed.

Meanwhile, former minister G M Saroori, representing the Democratic Azad Party (DPAP), secured third place with 39,599 votes. Singh's prior victories in 2014 and 2019 further cement his stronghold in the Udhampur constituency.
