BJP candidate Praveen Khandelwal emerged victorious in the Delhi's Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat, defeating Congress stalwart J P Agarwal by a significant margin of 89,325 votes. Khandelwal, a newcomer, initially trailed but soon gained momentum to clinch the win.

Praveen Khandelwal was nominated by BJP, replacing the outgoing MP Harsh Vardhan. The BJP has maintained its dominance in Delhi, winning all seven seats in both the 2014 and 2019 general elections, and appears poised to replicate this success in the current polls.

During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress ran candidates in three of Delhi's seven Lok Sabha constituencies, while the AAP contested the remaining four seats, in line with a seat-sharing pact within the INDIA bloc.
