Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday accused the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders of using 'Shakuni neeti' (Machiavellian tactics) to mislead and confuse voters in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing reporters at the Nagpur airport, Bawankule insisted that despite the setback, the Bharatiya Janata Party will rebound by highlighting its development agenda. He emphasized that the BJP and its allies would scrutinize the reasons behind their reduced seat count and rectify any missteps ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls.

Bawankule also vehemently denied allegations that the BJP intended to undermine the Constitution or strip tribal communities of their rights. He criticized the MVA for engaging in caste-based politics, which he believes will not endure, asserting that the public will eventually discern the truth.
