Speaking to PTI Video, Patnaik, who has lost power to the BJP after a remarkable 24-year tenure, highlighted the dedication and success of the BJD government. He emphasized the importance of accepting democratic outcomes with humility.
The BJP has taken the reins in Odisha by securing 78 seats in the 147-member assembly, while Patnaik’s BJD won 51 seats. Naveen Patnaik remains grateful for the blessings and support of the 4.5 crore people of Odisha, whom he considers his extended family.
