Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi to Thank Supporters in Amethi

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will address a thanksgiving meeting in Amethi. Following the party's recent victories, they aim to express gratitude to workers. Newly-elected Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma will also speak at the event.

Amethi is gearing up for a monumental thanksgiving event as former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi are set to address a public meeting on Tuesday. The announcement was made by the Congress district unit president, Pradeep Singhal, on Sunday.

The duo aims to extend their gratitude to party workers following the historic victories in Amethi and Rae Bareli during the recent Lok Sabha elections. The address will take place at Himachal Ka Purwa in Rampur Jamalpur village, located in the Tiloi assembly of the Amethi parliamentary constituency.

Kishori Lal Sharma, the newly-elected MP from Amethi, will also address the gathering. Rahul Gandhi emerged victorious against Uttar Pradesh Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh in Rae Bareli, while Kishori Lal Sharma defeated former Union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi.
