Kanimozhi Appointed DMK Parliamentary Leader, New Roles in Lok Sabha Announced

DMK MP Kanimozhi has been appointed as the party’s parliamentary leader, replacing T R Baalu. Dayanidhi Maran will serve as deputy leader. A Raja will be the Whip, and Tiruchi N Siva will lead in the Rajya Sabha. Other key appointments include M Shanmugam, P Wilson, and S Jegathratchagan.

In a significant reshuffle, DMK MP Kanimozhi has been appointed as the party’s parliamentary leader, taking over from Sriperumbudur MP T R Baalu, the DMK announced on Monday.

Dayanidhi Maran, representing Chennai Central, will step into the role of deputy leader in the Lok Sabha, stated DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin.

Notable appointments include former Union Minister A Raja as the Whip, Tiruchi N Siva as the DMK leader in the Rajya Sabha, M Shanmugam as the deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, senior advocate P Wilson as the Rajya Sabha Whip, and Arakkonam MP S Jegathratchagan as the DMK treasurer in both Houses.
