Tripura Minister Animesh Debbarma Expresses Discontent Over Portfolio Allocation Ahead of Lok Sabha Polls

Tipra Motha leader Animesh Debbarma has expressed dissatisfaction with the portfolios he was allocated in the BJP-led Tripura government. Despite his extensive political experience, Debbarma is seeking more significant departments and plans to discuss the issue with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In the lead-up to the Lok Sabha polls, Tipra Motha leader and newly-appointed minister in Tripura, Animesh Debbarma, has voiced his displeasure over the portfolios assigned to him in the BJP-led government.

Debbarma expressed his concerns to Chief Minister Manik Saha, stating his disappointment with the current allocations, particularly with the Forest, Printing & Stationery, and Science & Technology (excluding TREDA) departments. He emphasized the need for more significant roles to make a substantial impact, especially in rural areas.

Debbarma plans to take his grievances to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi while congratulating him on reassuming the Ministry of Home Affairs. With more than two decades in politics, he argues that his experience warrants more critical responsibilities and believes that his performance should reflect his capabilities.
