Rahul Gandhi Likely to Vacate Wayanad Seat, Hints K Sudhakaran

KPCC chief K Sudhakaran hinted that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi might relinquish the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Gandhi secured victories in both Rae Bareli and Wayanad in the recent Lok Sabha polls. At a public event, Sudhakaran emphasized that Gandhi, a national leader, might not remain in Wayanad.

In a significant development, KPCC chief K Sudhakaran on Wednesday hinted that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi might relinquish his Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. This comes after Gandhi's dual victories in the recent Lok Sabha polls, where he clinched both the Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats.

Speaking at a public event organized to thank Gandhi's supporters, Sudhakaran expressed that the Wayanad MP's decision was driven by his larger responsibility towards the nation. 'We should not be saddened as Rahul Gandhi, who is supposed to lead the nation, cannot be expected to remain in Wayanad,' he remarked.

He urged supporters to understand the situation and continue backing Gandhi's leadership in his broader national role.
