Strengthening Ties: Jaishankar and Sri Lanka's Collaborative Efforts

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Sri Lanka's top leaders to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation. The discussions included sectors such as power, energy, connectivity, digital, health, and food security. Jaishankar also virtually handed over 154 houses built under Indian funding and commissioned a Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre.

In a significant diplomatic engagement, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged with Sri Lanka's top leadership, including President Ranil Wickremesinghe, to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation across various sectors such as power, energy, and connectivity.

Jaishankar, who conveyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's warm greetings, highlighted the importance of India and Sri Lanka's traditionally close relationship.

Among his notable activities was the virtual handover of 154 houses built with Indian funding and the commissioning of the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre, symbolizing India's continued commitment to its maritime neighbor.
