India and US Unite to Send Strong Message to China

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited to visit Texas, with an emphasis on deepening bilateral relations.

In a pivotal meeting in New Delhi, top US lawmaker Michael McCaul voiced the strategic necessity for India and the United States to collaboratively send a potent message of deterrence to China. McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, emphasized the importance of democratic nations leading in next-generation weapons and technology production.
McCaul, part of a bipartisan Congressional delegation, invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Texas, highlighting the significant Indian diaspora in the state. He affirmed that Modi would receive a warm welcome. The delegation lauded the recently concluded general election in India and described Indo-US relations as 'the most consequential one.'
The seven-member delegation also engaged with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and met Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Members included prominent figures such as Nancy Pelosi and Ami Bera, further solidifying the commitment to enhancing the US-India Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership in various sectors.
