The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has renewed its alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls, party leaders announced on Thursday.

The BSP is set to contest 37 of the 90 assembly seats in Haryana, with the remaining seats allocated to INLD, in a joint effort to unseat the ruling BJP, currently vying for a third consecutive term.

At a joint press conference held at Nayagaon near Chandigarh, INLD leader Abhay Chautala, who will be the alliance’s chief ministerial candidate, emphasized that the partnership aims to address public grievances rather than selfish interests.
