In the latest by-election results, the INDIA bloc has secured three seats and is leading in eight others. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and one Independent candidate are ahead in one seat each. According to the Election Commission (EC) website, votes were counted on Saturday for the by-elections held earlier this week.

AAP's Mohinder Bhagat triumphed in Punjab's Jalandhar West seat, defeating BJP nominee Sheetal Angural by 37,325 votes. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's wife and Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur claimed victory in Dehra, while TMC's Krishna Kalyani won in West Bengal's Raiganj. The INDIA bloc parties included the Congress, TMC, AAP, and DMK.

Significant victories for the bloc also occurred in Tamil Nadu, with DMK's Anniyur Siva leading in Vikravandi, and in West Bengal, where multiple TMC candidates are leading. The seats span across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Tamil Nadu, highlighting a widespread impact of the bloc in these by-elections.
