Trinamool Congress Triumphs in West Bengal Assembly Bypolls

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) continued its victory streak by winning the Raiganj, Bagda, and Ranaghat Dakshin seats in the West Bengal assembly bypolls, alongside securing a record win in Maniktala. This victory strengthens TMC's position in the state legislature while the BJP faces another setback.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) extended its electoral winning streak by sweeping the West Bengal assembly bypolls on Saturday. The party wrested Raiganj, Bagda, and Ranaghat Dakshin seats from the BJP and secured a record win in Maniktala.

TMC candidates Krishna Kalyani, Madhuparna Thakur, and Mukut Mani Adhikari won the Raiganj, Bagda, and Ranaghat Dakshin seats respectively, while Supti Pandey emerged victorious in the Maniktala segment in Kolkata.

The BJP secured second positions in all four seats, while the Left-Congress alliance finished a distant third, losing deposits in two assembly segments. TMC's latest triumph further consolidates its dominance in the state legislature.
