On Monday, the Congress initiated the 'Haryana Maange Hisab' campaign ahead of the state Assembly elections.

The opposition party aims to confront the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on several issues including rising unemployment and deteriorating law and order.

During the launch, Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda, flanked by state Congress chief Udai Bhan and other leaders, marched through Karnal streets, addressing public grievances and collecting suggestions for the party's manifesto.
