Uttar Pradesh BJP president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary held a significant meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, addressing key organizational matters within the party. This follows recent setbacks in the Lok Sabha elections, where the BJP faced unexpected losses to the SP-Congress alliance.
On Tuesday, Chaudhary and the state's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had separate discussions with BJP national president J P Nadda. Notably, Maurya's ongoing differences with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have been a focal point, marked by his assertion that 'organization is always bigger than government,' a sentiment shared amid party ranks.
As internal critiques surface, the BJP's leadership is working diligently to restore party strength ahead of the assembly bypolls for 10 seats, aiming to recover from the significant electoral challenge posed by the resurgent opposition in Uttar Pradesh.
