NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar emphasized a collective decision-making process regarding potential new entries into his party, including his estranged nephew Ajit Pawar. Speaking to reporters in Pune, Pawar stressed the importance of consulting party colleagues who backed him during recent crises when considering any significant political moves.
Addressing reporters' queries, Sharad Pawar said that although everyone has a place in the 'house,' crucial decisions cannot be taken on a personal whim. He underscored that the opinions of loyal party colleagues would take precedence in such matters.
Sharad Pawar's comments come amidst ongoing speculations about dissatisfaction in Ajit Pawar's camp following the NCP's poor showing in recent elections. In contrast, the Sharad Pawar-led faction achieved notable success, winning 8 out of 10 constituencies it contested alongside Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT).
