Tensions flared in Uttar Pradesh's political landscape as Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav announced a provocative monsoon offer, urging dissidents to bring a hundred MLAs to form the government. In response, UP Congress President Ajay Rai predicted worsening internal conflicts within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying, "Certainly the BJP is ending completely, and in the coming time, the situation within the BJP is going to get worse because many groups have been formed in their party."

Highlighting recent electoral results, Rai remarked, "Modi ji lagged behind in four rounds in Banaras, and his vote percentage decreased. This has put a strain on the forehead of the BJP because their biggest leader fell behind." Yadav took to social media platform X to publicize his offer, stating, "Monsoon Offer: Bring a hundred, form the government!"

Meanwhile, Deputy CM KP Maurya responded with strong words, emphasizing BJP's strength, "The BJP has a strong organisation and government both at the national and state levels; the SP's PDA is a fraud. The return of SP's hooliganism in UP is impossible; the BJP will repeat 2017 in the 2027 assembly elections." With BJP's 283 seats against SP's 107 in the assembly, the political battleground remains fiercely contested.
