Kremlin Reacts to Biden's Reelection Withdrawal

The Kremlin stated on Monday that it was not overly surprised by U.S. President Joe Biden's decision to abandon his reelection bid. The announcement was met with relative indifference from Moscow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked that U.S. political fluctuations are not a primary concern for Russia. Instead, Moscow remains concentrated on achieving its aims in what President Vladimir Putin refers to as the 'special military operation' in Ukraine.

Furthermore, Peskov pointed out that Vice President Kamala Harris has thus far made no significant contributions to the state of Russian-U.S. relations.
