On Monday, Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania administered the oath to three newly elected legislators, including Kamlesh Thakur, the wife of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
The ceremony, held inside the House, saw the presence of the chief minister, opposition leader, cabinet ministers, and other members. Congress MLAs Kamlesh Thakur (Dehra), Hardeep Singh Bawa (Nalagarh), and BJP legislator Ashish Sharma (Hamirpur) took oaths.
With the inclusion of these three MLAs, the House is now complete with 68 members, enhancing Congress' strength to 40 while BJP holds 28 seats.
