Zero Tolerance Against Terrorism: Modi Government's Resolve

Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, stated in the Rajya Sabha that terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir will either be imprisoned or sent to 'jahannum.' He emphasized the Modi government's zero tolerance for terrorism. Security forces have killed about 900 terrorists since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, leading to a significant reduction in terror incidents and improved safety for citizens.

Responding to a question from Congress MP Pramod Tiwari, Rai confirmed that recent terrorist activities would soon come to an end. He mentioned that security forces have neutralized 28 terrorists in the past few days, although some security personnel have unfortunately lost their lives.

Rai highlighted that approximately 900 terrorists have been eliminated since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. He pointed out that terrorist incidents have significantly dropped, fostering a more secure environment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
