Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador dismissed Elon Musk's recent statement about Tesla's investment in Mexico, calling it 'not serious' during his daily press conference on Wednesday.

Lopez Obrador speculated that Musk 'must have another business plan,' hinting that the Tesla CEO may have other strategies up his sleeve.

This comes after Tesla had previously announced its intention to set up a megafactory in northern Mexico.
