Addressing the Telangana Legislative Assembly, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy declared his government's decision to boycott the upcoming NITI Aayog meeting, scheduled for July 27, as a protest against perceived injustices in fund allocation by the central government.

In a fiery session, Reddy criticized the previous BRS government and challenged former CM K Chandrashekar Rao to join him in a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. This challenge came in response to comments made by BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao during a heated Assembly debate.

Reddy also condemned the central government’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ slogan, labeling it as “bogus.” He claimed that the Union Budget favored other states over Telangana, accusing the Prime Minister of prioritizing his position over equitable development.
