Jharkhand Assembly Preps for Crucial Monsoon Session

Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto convened an all-party meeting to ensure smooth proceedings of the upcoming Monsoon session from July 26 to August 2. This meeting, attended by key political figures except the BJP, is significant as it precedes the state elections later this year.

On Thursday, Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto called an all-party meeting aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of the House during the Monsoon session scheduled from July 26 to August 2. This crucial session marks the final gathering of the assembly before the state heads into elections later this year.

The meeting saw the participation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Minister Rameshwar Oraon, AJSU Party legislator Lambodar Mahto, and CPI(ML) Liberation legislator Vinod Singh. However, the BJP's absence was noticeable. Speaker Mahto noted that Ranchi MLA CP Singh arrived late, speculating that he might have been designated as the party's representative.
