BJP leaders on Thursday condemned chief ministers from the INDIA bloc for their decision to boycott the NITI Aayog meeting scheduled for July 27. The opposition leaders cited alleged Union Budget biases against their states as the reason for the boycott, but BJP members dismissed these allegations as mere frustration.

Chief Ministers from Congress-ruled Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana, along with the CM of Tamil Nadu and other opposition states, stated they would skip the meeting. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee also canceled her travel plans to Delhi, raising uncertainty about her attendance.

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma criticized the opposition, saying they have no substantial issues and rely on rumors. He was joined by BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who defended the NITI Aayog as a neutral platform. AAP MP Sanjay Singh and other opposition figures maintained their stance, highlighting a lack of budget provisions for their states.
