Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, arguing that the INDI bloc is not a legitimate alliance as it hasn't allocated any seats in the eastern state.

Responding to queries about Banerjee's exit from today's NITI Aayog meeting, Joshi remarked that opposition parties are finding it hard to come to terms with the people's mandate, alleging they are complaining unfairly.

“Regarding the NITI Aayog meeting... I haven't seen what transpired as I was traveling. I just arrived. I'll verify the details. But I can say this so-called INDI bloc is not an alliance, as Mamata did not allocate any seat in West Bengal. Furthermore, how Mamata treats the Congress in West Bengal is well-known. These opposition parties cannot digest the people's mandate and are playing foul,” Joshi commented to reporters.

Banerjee exited the NITI Aayog meeting held in the national capital on Saturday, expressing that she was interrupted within just five minutes of speaking.
