BJP MP Brijmohan Agrawal on Monday fired back at Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, challenging his criticisms about the government's alleged neglect of SCs, STs, and OBCs. Agrawal questioned why Gandhi chose to become Leader of Opposition instead of offering the role to someone from these communities.

During the Union Budget discussion, Agrawal denounced the Opposition for rejecting the budget, accusing them of disliking the government's development agenda targeting youth, farmers, women, the poor, and various regions including border areas. He criticized the Opposition's preference for the advancement of select families.

Agrawal also pointed out Gandhi's leadership of the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' while highlighting historical events he attributed to Congress, such as India's partition in 1947 and China's territorial capture in 1962. He mocked Congress for its claim that BJP has failed despite winning 240 seats compared to Congress's 99.
