Congress Appoints New Deputy Leader and Chief Whip in Rajasthan Assembly
The Congress party has appointed Ramkesh Meena as the deputy leader of its legislature party and Rafeek Khan as the chief whip in the Rajasthan state assembly. The appointments were approved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. State party leaders expressed confidence in their abilities to handle their new responsibilities.

In a significant development, the Congress has appointed MLA Ramkesh Meena as the deputy leader of its legislature party and Rafeek Khan as the chief whip in the Rajasthan state assembly.
Following approval from Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC general secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal issued a formal letter announcing the appointments.
Ramkesh Meena represents Gangapur (Sawai Madhopur), while Rafeek Khan serves the Adarsh Nagar constituency of Jaipur. Pradesh Congress Committee chief and MLA Govind Singh Dotasra took to social media platform X to congratulate the newly appointed leaders.
'I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Gangapur MLA Ramesh Meena for his appointment as deputy leader of opposition and to Adarsh Nagar MLA Rafeek Khan for his new role as chief whip,' Dotasra stated.
'I am confident that both will discharge their responsibilities with full devotion and effectively raise Rajasthan's issues in the House.'
