On Wednesday, C P Radhakrishnan was sworn in as the 21st Governor of Maharashtra during a formal ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai.
The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Bombay High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya. The event was graced by several high-profile attendees, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, along with other state ministers and officials.
Also present were Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla. Before his appointment to Maharashtra, Radhakrishnan served as the governor of Jharkhand.
