Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Visit Landslide-Hit Chooralmala
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited the landslide-affected area of Chooralmala. They inspected the damage, visited a health center, Dr. Moopen's Medical College, and two relief camps. Torrential rains caused the landslides, resulting in significant fatalities, including women and children.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited Chooralmala, a region recently devastated by landslides, on Thursday afternoon.
Braving the rain, both leaders assessed the damage before heading to the Community Health Centre in Meppadi. Party sources indicated that their next stops included Dr. Moopen's Medical College and two relief camps.
Accompanying them was AICC general secretary and Alappuzha MP K C Venugopal. Massive landslides triggered by heavy rains have resulted in the deaths of 173 people, including women and children, in areas like Mundakkai, Chooralmala, Attamala, and Noolpuzha.
