Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, on Friday anticipated an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid against him, stemming from his critical 'chakravyuh' speech delivered in Parliament.
Expressing his readiness, Gandhi remarked, ''Waiting with open arms @dir_ed ..Chai and biscuits on me,''—in a post on X early Friday morning. His statements pointed to insider information suggesting that high-ranking officials were displeased with his speech.
Meanwhile, Congress MP Manickam Tagore presented a motion noticing alleged misuse of government agencies like the ED, CBI, and Income Tax by the BJP for political harassment. The term 'chakravyuh' was borrowed from Mahabharata, symbolizing a multi-layered formation aimed at entrapment, which Gandhi likened to the BJP's tactics.
