Rebel Akali leader Gurpartap Singh Wadala lashed out at the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leadership on Friday, criticizing the expulsion of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and eight other key figures, describing the move as an indication of the party's frustration in facing ground realities.

Wadala, a former MLA and convener of the Shiromani Akali Dal Sudhar Lehar, himself expelled from SAD, spoke out after the rebels launched their movement aimed at uplifting and strengthening the party. Dhindsa also expressed dissatisfaction with SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal's unconstitutional decisions, despite his expulsion.

The 103-year-old party is reportedly facing its worst rebellion. Dhindsa and other expelled leaders continue to advocate for change, warning that without new leadership, the future of the SAD remains bleak with dwindling support from the public.
