Chief Minister Calls Alleged Thackeray Arrest Plot a 'Fake Narrative'

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde refuted Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray's claims about a plot to arrest him and his son Aaditya Thackeray, calling it a 'fake narrative'. Shinde criticized Thackeray's language and emphasized the importance of strong conviction to challenge the Union Government. He also promoted the 'Ladki Bahin Yojana' scheme for women.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has dismissed Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray's allegations of an arrest plot involving him and his son Aaditya Thackeray, describing it as a 'fake narrative'. The CM asserted that Thackeray was using low-level language to address the issue.

During an inauguration event in Sillod for the state government's 'Ladki Bahin Yojana', Shinde emphasized the need for strong conviction to challenge the BJP-led Union government. He took a swipe at Thackeray by stating that one needs to take to the streets and have a solid determination.

Shinde also promoted the 'Ladki Bahin Yojana', which offers monthly aid to women whose families earn less than Rs 2.5 lakh annually. He claimed that the opposition was unfairly targeting the scheme, and assured that it was not merely a political rhetoric but a genuine initiative aimed at helping women.
