Sachin Waze Submits Evidence Against Anil Deshmukh, Alleges Corruption Scandal
Dismissed Mumbai Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze claims to have evidence of alleged bribes involving former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Waze has submitted a letter with the evidence to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, also naming Jayant Patil. Deshmukh faces multiple accusations and arrests related to corruption and extortion.

Sachin Waze, the dismissed Mumbai Assistant Police Inspector accused in the Rs 100 crore extortion case, stated on Friday that he has written to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, submitting evidence of alleged bribes taken by former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Waze asserted that the proof is incontrovertible, involving money transfers through Deshmukh's personal assistant. He revealed, 'I have given the name of Jayant Patil as well.'
Furthermore, Waze expressed his willingness to undergo a NARCO test. Waze is also implicated in the 2021 Antilia bomb scare and Mansukh Hiren murder case. The CBI had filed a corruption case against Deshmukh after accusations that he had instructed police officials to collect Rs 100 crore monthly from bar owners. Deshmukh was arrested and later secured bail.
In a previous accusation in July, NCP-SP leader Anil Deshmukh claimed that Devendra Fadnavis had encouraged him to file affidavits against multiple political figures, promising protection from ED and CBI investigations. Fadnavis denied these allegations, vowing to counter any personal claims against him. Deshmukh has dealt with multiple arrests and jail time over related charges.
