Shiv Sena Demands Narco Test for Ex-Cop Sachin Waze Amid Bribery Row

The Shiv Sena on Monday demanded a narco test for dismissed policeman Sachin Waze to uncover the ''truth'' amid bribery accusations against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, intensifying the political drama.

Party spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat remarked that Waze had significant standing in the Shiv Sena during Uddhav Thackeray's tenure as chief minister, attending crucial meetings and reporting to party leaders.

Shirsat insisted that a narco test should be conducted immediately if Waze agrees, to clarify his role in the scandal. He also questioned the unpublished report by the Justice Chandiwal Commission, which investigated the bribery claims against Deshmukh.
