BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Monday stated it is a significant honor that Bangladesh leader Sheikh Hasina feels safe in Bharat following her resignation as prime minister and her subsequent landing near Delhi in a military aircraft amidst turmoil in her country.

Ranaut, a national award-winning actor and BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, further criticized those questioning the idea of a 'Hindu Rastra.' She asserted that Muslim countries are unsafe, even for Muslims.

'Bharat is the original motherland of all Islamic Republics around us. We are honored that the honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh feels secure in Bharat. However, those who question why a Hindu Rashtra or Ram Rajya should notice: no one is safe in Muslim countries, not even Muslims. It is unfortunate, considering the situations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Britain. We are fortunate to be living in Ram Rajya,' Ranaut said in a post on X.

Hasina fled Bangladesh in a military aircraft due to violent protests, landing at Hindon airbase near New Delhi, according to diplomatic sources. She plans to leave for London but has encountered issues causing delays.

Sheikh Hasina, 76, daughter of Bangladesh's founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has been moved to a safe location. The dramatic events bring an end to her 15-year tenure as Bangladesh's Prime Minister.
