The Parliament on Thursday wrapped up the Budget process, with the Rajya Sabha returning the Appropriation Bill and the Finance Bill to the Lok Sabha for final approval.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented these crucial legislations in the Rajya Sabha, along with the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill. The bills, previously approved by the Lok Sabha, were subjected to a brief discussion and Minister Sitharaman's reply before being returned to the lower House.

Sitharaman initially presented the Budget in the Lok Sabha on July 23, marking a key step in the government's financial planning and allocation for the coming year.
