Originally slated to conclude on August 12, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House indefinitely. Similarly, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned sine die.
During this session, the Finance Bill saw approval, and a bill proposed to amend the Waqf law was introduced and sent to a joint parliamentary committee, despite facing protests.
Speaker Birla highlighted that the House’s productivity was above 130 per cent.
