The Supreme Court has granted bail to AAP leader Manish Sisodia in graft cases tied to the now-discontinued Delhi excise policy, which BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj described as a 'procedural order' that does not absolve him of the offense.

The court noted that Sisodia had been in custody for 17 months, prompting the decision to grant bail. The delay in trial was cited as the primary reason for the bail, according to Swaraj, who spoke at a BJP press conference.

Despite the bail, conditions such as surrendering his passport and reporting to the police station twice a week have been imposed on Sisodia. BJP officials asserted that the AAP and Sisodia will eventually be held accountable for corruption charges.
